Happy Birthday to Alexander Graham Bell who was born March 3, 1847, 176 years ago.

Also in this month, March 7th 1876, Bell was awarded the first U.S. patent for the telephone which, in turn, would lead to the creation of AT&T, followed by the Bell System in all of its iterations and name changes.
